Shipping Liability Disclaimer

Applicable to all products purchased from Dana Shell Art

The Artist ships all products from Algarve, Portugal and is not liable for import fees, including duties or taxes upon delivery on any products purchased. This includes but is not limited to the commissioning of a custom piece and originals.

Taxes and duties are not included in the checkout total, these are determined within the destination country by the customs agency. Some countries charge import taxes over a certain declared value amount. If charges are applicable, the customs agency will notify the recipient either upon delivery by notice, mail, phone, or email. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any duties, value added tax or other similar charges. Failure to pay this remaining fee directly to the shipping company upon invoice can result in delay of delivery, abandonment of the parcel, or reshipment back to original sender.

The Artist is not responsible for reimbursing the order value if the package is rejected upon delivery by the client for any reason, including refusal to pay these fees enforced by customs or the shipping company.

Items are declared at purchase value for customs declaration and insurance purposes and under no circumstance will documents be falsified.

Shipping Timelines

1.Original Artwork

Please allow up to 5 business days for Dana to prepare the order for shipment.

Shipping within Portugal can take 1-7 business days and International orders up to 3 - 5 weeks. This may vary based on time to get through customs and cannot be guaranteed. Shipping of original artwork may not be available to your country due to customs restrictions; if you do not see your country at check out, please contact us.

2. Custom Artwork

Refer to the same shipping policy as original artwork. Artwork is sealed and prepared for shipment once final piece is approved by client.

NOTE: For domestic and International I have an accord with IBEROMAIL, company which have a specific service for the transport of works of Art and Antiques, however if you desire a specific shipping service we can accommodate.
