About the Artist

I’m a Romanian-born shell artist based in the Algarve, Portugal.

I create contemporary wall artworks using reclaimed shells from the local seafood industry — each piece crafted slowly and with intention, by hand.

Inspired by the sea and guided by texture, I transform discarded shells into one-of-a-kind art pieces that carry memory, movement, and emotion.

My work blends organic materials with refined design — created for thoughtful homes, curated interiors, and hospitality spaces seeking authenticity, presence, and soul.

Modern sculptural shell art piece crafted from sustainably sourced mussel shells by Portugal-based artist Dana, ideal for a curated gallery space.

Art allows me to express what words cannot.

I work with reclaimed shells not as perfect materials, but as fragments carrying their own shape, texture and imperfections. I bring them together intuitively, searching for rhythm, movement and balance until something unexpected begins to emerge.

Created in the Algarve, my sculptural works sit somewhere between the organic and the intentional —

where nature provides the fragments, and I give them a new language.
